We’re excited to announce that JOY and FLOW are joining forces for the third time at JOY x FLOW Festival 2026! On Saturday, July 11, expect non-stop dancing acrossthree stages, featuring your favorite JOY and FLOW artists. This year, our mainstage returns bigger and reimagined. Set along the banks of the North Sea Canal, Hembrugterrein provides a unique art and event setting on the edge of Amsterdam— the perfect backdrop for JOY x FLOW Festival 2026.

JOY X FLOW Festival will take place at The Hembrugterrein in Amsterdam Zaanstad. A beautiful location located on the banks of the North Sea Canal at the border of Amsterdam and Zaanstad. From 1895 the location was official miliray ground and use to produce ammunition till 2003. In 2014 the doors officially opened for public. The complex has now been turned into a beautiful park full of creative companies and a festival site.

When?

JOY X FLOW will take place on Saturday 11 July 2026.
Please note: Our entrance closes at 20:00!

Where?

JOY X FLOW Festival will take place at The Hembrugterrein wich is situated on the edge of Amsterdam in Amsterdam Zaanstad. If you have a parking ticket the navigation adres is Symon Spiersweg 7 Zaandam.
We advise to use public transport or come by bike. Please check the how to get there section bellow.

Minimal age?

The minimum age at JOY X Flow Festival is 18 years old, ID is required.

Identification

Please keep in mind that a copy of your ID doesn’t count as a valid ID. It’s only possible to identify yourself with a valid ID such as your passport or driver’s license.

How to get there

BY BIKE
The location is easy to reach by bike from Amsterdam. Use the Hempont if you are coming from the direction of Amsterdam Sloterdijk. The ferry sails 3 times an hour every day between Hempontplein in Amsterdam and Hemkade.
SHUTTLE BUS / PUBLIC TRANSPORT
Travel to Zaandam Station and from there you can take the shuttle bus which is only 10 minutes. You can buy your shuttle bus return tickets online in the ticketshop.
TRAVEL BY CAR
If you have a parking ticket the navigation adres is Symon Spiersweg 7 Zaandam. If you don’t have a parking ticket, it is not possible to park your car nearby the festival site.
ORGANIZED BUS TRAVEL

Looking for an easy way to get to Joy x Flow by bus? Our partner Eleven Travel has got you covered.

Choose a pickup location near you, request your own pickup point, or organize a private bus trip if you’re traveling with a large group.

Dresscode

No Football shirts from national teams and club teams allowed. Track or Joggings suirts are also not allowed.

How many tickets I can buy?

You can buy a maximum of 4 tickets per ticket type per order.

Sealed tickets

We work with sealed tickets. This means you can only download your tickets 1 hour before the event starts. This is to prevent possible ticketing fraud.
It is however possible to resell your tickets at Ticketswap via the button found in the email as we work with secure swap.

Lost my tickets

We work with Eventix as our ticketing partner. For all questions or to find your ticket visit eventix.io/search or reach out to tickets@eventix.io

Recycle Token

At the entrance, you will receive a recycle token for a first free cup, can or bottle. With every new drink, you can hand in your old cup, can, or bottle, so you don’t have to pay an extra deposit. When you’re not in need of a new drink, you can hand in your cup, can, or bottle at one of our many recycle points or at the bar and get a recycle token in return.

Drugs

The possession or dealing of hard and softdrugs is prohibited at the festival. If there is any evidence of overt use and/or possession, confiscation of the drugs will follow and/or the offender will be handed over to the police.

Bring medicines

Bringing your medication is permitted only in conjunction with a doctor’s note.

Can I pay with PIN and/or cash?

During JOY X FLOW Festival, it’s only possible to pay with PIN. Payment with cash is not possible.

Are there lockers at JOY x FLOW Festival?

Yes, there are lockers available at for rent at JOY X FLOW Festival. In these you can store your clothing and valuable items which you don’t want to carry around with you at all times. The lockers can be opened and closed endlessly. You can rent a locker online in advance or during the festival at the locker desk. We advise you to rent a locker in advance. This means you don’t have to queue and wait at the festival. The use of a locker is at its own risk.
